Since 1986, our LÖDIGE Test Centre has offered companies from a wide range of industries the opportunity to evaluate and optimise their innovations in terms of feasibility, efficiency, profitability and scalability.
Whether mixing, drying, reaction, coating, granulation or emulsification: Customers from all over the world come to Paderborn/Germany to test their own products and processes under real conditions on a test area of 700 m² before these are implemented on a large scale or marketed. Our customers benefit in this way from the many years of sector-specific experience of our process engineers.

PERFORMING TRIALS
Scale-up trials are essential for process and system design. The data obtained from the trials, combined with our many years of experience, enable accurate design and construction of production systems, as well as reliable predictions of product quality and performance.
PRODUCING SAMPLE BATCHES
Whether for extensive market testing or for evaluation by potential customers: We are happy to produce samples of your products. In both small and medium batches. If you need several batches for a product launch for example, we can handle that too.
PROCESS DEVELOPMENT & OPTIMISATION
As well as developing processes for new products, we can also help you to optimise your existing production process. For example, to improve efficiency, quality or sustainability. We offer comprehensive advice from an experienced team that will be pleased to visit you on your site.
LABORATORY FOR ANALYSIS
A separate laboratory area with extensive and modern equipment is available for the preparation of analytical samples. This is ideal for risk minimisation: Risks can be identified and minimised before large investments are made in full-scale production.
30 MACHINES AVAILABLE ON 700 M² TEST AREA
In our LÖDIGE Test Centre, you will find a selection of 30 state-of-the-art machines on a test area of 700 m². Our aim is to optimise your know-how in the field of mixing and drying technology. We attach great importance to the smooth and cost-effective transfer of new processes into production.
To ensure this is the case, an experienced process engineer will assist with each trial. By working closely with our customers, we are able to develop tailor-made solutions to meet your needs. Our extensive range of equipment and expert provide the basis for a successful and efficient development and optimisation process.
OUR MACHINES AVAILABLE FOR YOUR TRIALS
We offer a comprehensive range of highly specialised equipment to meet a wide range of testing requirements. Our range includes normal pressure batch Ploughshare® Mixers that ensure uniform and efficient mixing. For continuous operation, high-speed Ringlayer Mixers are available, renowned for their efficiency in rapid mixing. For optimum drying of your products, we also offer Shovel Dryers that can be used for both atmospheric and vacuum operation.
We have machines for applications that require positive pressure operation and machines for high temperature applications that deliver reliable results under the most demanding conditions. Our vertical Mixing Granulator is ideal for granulation and mixing in one step, while our Fluid Bed Processors are versatile for drying, granulation and coating processes. Our Coaters are ideal for coating particles to control the release of the active ingredient or improve the stability of the product.
